  1. Swedish meatballs recipe :)
    Ingredients
    - 500g minced meat (50% pork 50% beef. otherwise use 100% beef)
    - 100ml breadcrumbs
    - 75ml single cream (12-15% fat)
    - 1 teaspoon salt
    - 0.5 teaspoon white pepper
    - a pinch of powdered ginger (optional)
    - 1 egg
    - 1/2 finely diced onion (optional)

    Steps
    - mix everything! (use your hands, it will take forever if you use fork and spoon and the ingredients won't be evenly mixed...)
    - roll into meatballs the size of a pingpong ball. (if you're lazy you can also make tennis ball size ones, then flatten them into small burgers)
    - fry in a non-stick pan. no need to use oil as more fat will come out from the meatballs.

    Serving suggestions
    - pasta and ketchup (kids' favourite!)
    - boiled potatoes, lingonberry jam and the brown creamy sauce (i use readymade ones, so i don't how to make it at home. but try mixing beefstock with single cream and adjust taste according to preference).

    Happy cooking la :)
