(Phil testing his vocabulary with his favourite crossword)
He is using Chung Wah pencil! :)
ReplyDeleteYes, Chung Wah pencil, from HK. (I brought most of my pens + pencils with me.) :)
ReplyDeleteHolly, remember the student life in hall? I never forget u always have a dozen of same taste 'instant noodle' under the bed........
ReplyDeleteFion, was I (already) so horrible at that time? Hahaha! I do have a dozen dingding noodles in my cupboard, and same flavour!
ReplyDeleteGrace, the course will begin in late June, so there's still time... I'm trying (not hard) to learn on my own now, so that I can save some 200EUR for the course + transportation. But I'm lazy like pig when it comes to learning German... Friends from here? No expectation at all...honestly.
I had a heck of a time when I was taking French upon arrival to Ottawa many years ago. But you know what, learning another Latin-based language was not that difficult after all.
ReplyDeleteMy suggestion is not to perceive learning as a chore, rather think of it as an opportunity to open a new window into another world (in my case, the language and culture of France, and after that, Morocco, Italy, Mexico, Peru, Cuba, etc).
