牛一蛋糕

牛一那天終於什麼蛋糕都沒弄,四時完稿後本想開始弄蛋糕,跟夜半起來上廁所的他說,我現在要焗個蛋糕啊,他簡短的問︰要焗什麼蛋糕?我說︰生日蛋糕﹗沒想到他竟問︰給誰?(當然是給我啦﹗) 回想起來有點好笑。最後太累,答應自己醒來後再焗,但最後仍是太累。

Phil 大概告訴了他爸我當天牛一,於是老人不請自來,坐了幾小時,臨行前說了聲生日快樂。他怪我不告訴他,但說真心的,我真的只想倆個人在家裡呆,難得休息一天嘛。心情有點燥,但不敢發出來。

最後昨天晚上,貪心的一氣焗三個, well ,最後可惜只有一個能吃,但無所謂啦,起碼我終於為自己焗了我的生日蛋糕,並終於(誤打誤撞的)弄對了香蕉蛋糕的材料,出來的蛋糕正正是我要的鬆軟,不乾,也不太甜,可能因為用了 brown sugar ?

過了緊迫的幾道死線後,我要再焗幾個去派街坊﹗ :D

P.S. 牛一當天,收到洗衣工廠通知,終於可以取回工作的文件了,在辭工一個半月後。於是下午到工廠去,秘書看見我,第一時間問我怎麼了,老公又怎麼了?然後再次的告訴我,要是老公穩定了,要是我仍有興趣,可以隨時回去工作。雖然不是什麼高薪厚職,但始終是一份全職長工,所以聽了我還是很感動的。

  2. I did make a chocolate cake, but it was as dark as hell...burnt...! :(

  3. Holly did you follow any recipe? If the measurements and temperature are correct, the cakes should not be burnt ga wor :p

    Regarding fish soup, yes it is actually very easy. A very basic way is to sautee onion, garlic, carrot, celery and parsnip in butter/oil, add water, chopped tomatoes and herbs. Be patient and cook the stock for a while, then drop the fish can cook till the fish is just done. Salt and pepper. A more wintery version would be to add some cream, but given your style I think you will opt out.

I kinda did...as a matter of fact...but I was tooo concerned about my banana cake (I failed 3 times already...) that I forgot the chocolate cake might need a different baking time...after 50 minutes, I got all the cakes out...the chocolate cake turned kinda black (too black to be a chocolate cake...) and it crumbled like sand when I cut into it... it's not really completely burnt...but it's definitely dried out! >.<

    Cream in soup, I actually like it...but I guess you know me by now la, I try not to buy that evil thing...when you don't have any at home, you simply can't use it...hehehee :P

    大肚子 Millie,你感冒好了未?我知要用熟透的香蕉的,只是每次都要千叮囑萬叮囑 Phil 才不會丟掉它們。他覺得一有黑點便不能吃了,真是傻鬼佬﹗
